    MAKE A WISH - UHS 2018

    UHS Make A Wish

  • This is a critical time of year to be at school!  We are in the middle of taking state tests for students who still need to pass to graduate.  We are also less than two weeks from finishing up the first sememster....and that means taking finals!

Final exams count 15% of the students total grade for the semester.  If you were making a 100 in a course and missed the final, your grade would become an 85! Plan on taking and doing well on semester exams.

See our posts on Facebook and Twitter to learn about testing dates, final exam schedules, and study sessions for the rest of the semester.  We need our students here at school and finishing strong. #CometotheU #AllDayEveryDay

  • Also, daily attendance is critical to success at school.  Students who attend daily benefit from qulaity instruction which leads to course credit as well passing critical tests for graduation.

Many students who struggle with daily attendance may find it frustrating to keep up with work, leading to failing grades and not passing End of Course tests required for graduation.

We need students to attend at least 90 percent of their classes to be eligible for credit.  Those who do not attend at least 90 percent will be assigned to Saturday School for make up hours.  If student miss more than 25 percent (23 days) in the current semester, they will not be eligible to make up time unless allowed by the building principal.

The best way to graduate on time is to come to school every day.  #CometotheU
