Adopt-a-School Partnership Breakfast awards community volunteers

Waco ISD hosted its 5th Annual Partnership Recognition Breakfast honoring the Adopt-a-School Partners from across the district.

As another wonderful school year with the Adopt-a-School Program concluded, it was a special time to thank, honor and recognize the incredible work that our partners put in to our schools each and every day.

Each volunteer associated with the program has the same goal; helping to grow the educational experience for the students in Waco ISD.  These volunteers devote countless hours of hard work and dedication to not only our students, but also provide amazing support to our wonderful faculty and staff as well.  Saying a simple, “thank you” does not even begin to express how much each and every one of you are appreciated.

The Adopt-a-School Program has been in existence for 35 years; all the while forming over 150 partnerships with numerous businesses and service organizations across the community.  This program would not exist without the vital support from these groups.  They are quick to give their time, energy, and financial resources to support the program, and the district is truly grateful.

We look forward to working with our community and all partners to continue to grow our students’ educational experiences.  Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our children at Waco ISD. Congratulations to all of the partners on another very successful year!
