• Immunization Clinic Information & Permission Forms

GWAHCA, in partnership with Ascension Providence, will host an immunization clinic for all GWAHCA students. The dates for these clinics will be August 29th, August 30th and September 6th.

The clinic will allow students to complete their urine drug screen, TB skin test, and flu shot at no cost. These items are required in order to be in compliance with program requirements.

Please note, participation is voluntary. If a student chooses to participate, they must have a permission form signed (by parent/guardian) for each service they want to participate in. Failure to return permission forms will result in the student being unable to participate. Students may also choose to have these compliance items completed elsewhere, at their own cost.

Please note that only GWAHCA students will be allowed in the building to participate in the event.

  • Scrub/Uniform Update

Scrub fittings will occur during the first couple of weeks of school for students who did not complete their fittings over the summer.

Each student will be issued one set (top/bottom) of scrubs at no cost. Scrub sets that are lost or destroyed will need to be replaced at the students expense, in order to attend clinical rotations.

If you wish to purchase additional pairs of scrubs, please go directly to Swift Uniforms and let the staff know you would like to order GWAHCA scrubs.Their address is 7005 Woodway Dr. #205, Waco, TX 76712. Please visit their website for hours of operation: https://www.swiftuniformswaco.com/

Until all students receive their scrubs, students will not be required to wear them on campus. For questions about the dress code, please review the GWAHCA Student Handbook located on the "registration documents" tab of the GWAHCA website.
