Dr. Robin McDurham

Dr. Robin McDurham is the Chief Executive Officer for Transformation Waco, which is responsible for the operations of the five Waco ISD Schools in the in-district charter partnership. During her 17 years in Waco ISD, Dr. McDurham has served as teacher, assistant principal, principal, and assistant superintendent. She is a former Waco City Council member and Mayor, and her experience and passion for the community and public education have provided the perfect opportunity for work in Transformation Waco.

Ed Love

Ed Love is the Director of School Improvement, and oversees the five zone schools improvements. After earning his Bachelors Degree from Paul Quinn College, and a Masters of Education at Tarleton State University, Love's many years of experience in leadership positions with Waco ISD has prepared him to take on the role of guiding our zone schools. His previous experience at Waco ISd includes teaching and coaching at Tennyson Middle and Waco high School. While at Waco High, Love eventually became an Assistant Principal, and would then continue to step up in his leadership skills to become the Principal at Waco High. Through his years of coaching and administration, Ed Love has gained an excellent ability to be a strong team leader by communicating effectively to both students and staff, as well as proven his abilities to manage a complex, multitasking environment.

Dr. John Jenkins

Dr. John Jenkins is the Director of Operations and Talent Development for Transformation Waco. He has been in public education since 1995 with multiple Texas school districts. His role experiences include Student Initiatives Director, High School Principal, Alternative and Virtual School Principal, DAEP and District Administrator Training Principal, Middle School Principal (Waco ISD), Academic Dean, Assistant Principal, Special Education Coordinator, and Teacher. This is John’s sixth year at Waco ISD and is currently working with the Alternative Teacher Certification Program to increase teacher retention in Waco. He lives by the motto that “work is not work if you love what you do. John is grateful for his time in Waco and working alongside the many caring and supportive family, organization, and teaching partners who put children first.

Sarah Pedrotti

Sarah Pedrotti is in her first year as the Director of Digital Learning and Innovation for Transformation Waco. She has served in various roles within Waco ISD, including an elementary school teacher, an instructional coach at the middle school level, and an assistant principal and principal at the elementary level. Mrs. Pedrotti received her Masters in Education from Tarleton State University and her Bachelor degree in Education from Baylor University. Her heartfelt desire to provide teachers with support and coaching, build strong relationships within schools, and tap into the passions of adult and student learners.

Julie Pyle

Julie Pyle graduated from Howard Payne University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.  Baylor University’s graduate math program is what brought her to Waco.  She taught 4th- 12th grade math for 8 years as a classroom teacher with 3 of those years teaching math for Waco ISD at Bill Logue Juvenile Justice Center.  In the span of 5 years, she taught almost 90 college math and business courses as an adjunct instructor for a trade school.  For over 10 years, she has supported hundreds of students as a personal math tutor coaching them through the various college entrance exams.

She earned her Master’s degree from Howard Payne University in Instructional Leadership in Education.  As a part of her degree, she earned her Principal Certification while working at Lorena High School.  After graduation, she worked for 4 years as an Instructional Data Evaluation Specialist at Indian Spring Middle School.

Before joining Transformation Waco, her most recent position was working at Region 13 as a Data Systems Education Specialist, where she earned her regional certifications for Eduphoria and DMAC.  She worked on the A-F Accountability team and produced the Growth Prediction Tool, which is currently being sold on the Region 13 Product Store.

Catelia Vázquez

As Transformation Waco’s Administrative Specialist, Catelia brings almost four years of experience as an executive administrative assistant utilizing her sharp organizational skills to keep the systems running smoothly. She began her career in Waco ISD as the Human Resources Staffing Specialist which provided her the opportunity to familiarize herself with the multiple district systems, personnel, hone her ability to balance multiple projects with a high level of confidentiality, and develop processes to expedite tasks. Catelia earned her B.S. in Family and Consumer Science at Baylor University in 2014, and has been able to incorporate her studies in her day-to-day interactions with the community and families of Waco. As a native Wacoan and valedictorian of WISD's A.J. Moore Academy, Catelia is passionate about Waco, its schools, those that call Waco home, and the city's potential. In her spare time, you can find her and her husband, Eduardo, sipping cortados and lattes while enjoying a book at Pinewood Roasters or exploring the trails at Cameron Park.

Rhiannon Settles

Rhiannon Settles is the Coordinator of Health Services Waco ISD and Transformation Waco. She is a Waco native and has been with the district since 2009, working as the school nurse for both Waco High and University High. Rhiannon received her RN degree from MCC in 2007, followed by her BSN at Texas A&M-Central Texas. She has worked as a Board Certified pediatric nurse at both Hillcrest Hospital and McLane Childrens Hospital since 2007.  She is a child passenger safety technician and provides car seats and seat belt safety education to families in the district. Her husband is an art teacher in WISD and she has two very active kids.  Her hobbies include serving as the Area 12 Volunteer Coordinator for Special Olympics, spending time on the trails of Cameron Park, and enjoying much time as possible with her family and dogs.
