Current Position: 7th & 8th Grade AVID


Teaching Experience:  I have been in education since 2005 in various roles (ISS Aide, teacher/athletics coach - middle and high school, instructional specialist, assistant principal, behavior intervention specialist. I’ve taught 6th grade & 8th grade Social Studies.


Achievements: All-Conference college basketball player (Henderson State University) in Arkansas, Coached college volleyball and basketball (Henderson State University & Allegheny College), Guest Speaker at National Girls & Women in Sports Day


Hobbies: Spending time with family, Love sports, music,  food, playing board games


Family: Husband, Keith, married for 14 years; son Dean is 12 years old, son Kingston is 8 years old


Mission: My mission as a teacher is to motivate and inspire the belief in students that they can achieve anything. I will show them compassion, empathy, and fairness that will mold them into being successful and contributing people to our society.
