    Resident Spelling Whiz!!

    Congratulations to 4th Grade Student, Chloe Lively, for placing in the spelling bee at the Heart of Texas Fair Academic Rodeo! Chloe will be recognized at  Waco ISD's October school board meeting for her recent success at the HOT Academic Rodeo!

    Dean Highland is very proud of Chloe's achievements! She will have the opportunity to compete in the Central Texas Spelling Bee where the winners vie for a spot in the National Scripps Spelling Bee located in Washington D.C.

    3rd Grade Student Ilan Capetillo scored the most points in a single given day compared to all students in Texas using Achieve 3000’s KidBiz. Congratulations Illan! You have made Ms. Allen A Very PROUD Principal!

    Spirit Day is Coming! Order A T-Shirt!

    DH Family,

    We would like every student to wear our official D.H. spirit shirt on the last Friday of each month. T-Shirt orders can be placed through October 1, 2019. Help us fill our hallways with Dragon Pride by ordering a shirt! Additional order forms will be sent home this week.
