  • Attention all Volunteer Applicants:

    Please do not submit your volunteer application prior to August 1st for the 2019-2020 school year.  All volunteer applications will be cleared out on July 31st to prepare for the upcoming school year.


    **It is important that you use Google Chrome with this online form to avoid any errors in your application.**

    Prior to submitting your volunteer application, please contact your prospective campus or program coordinator so that they may be looking for your completed application.

    Dear Prospective Volunteer,

    Thank you for your interest in becoming a VIP in the Waco Independent School District. We want to make it as easy as possible to enroll as a volunteer.

    In the interest of children's safety and well-being, state law and district policy require that all Waco ISD volunteers (students, parents, community members and district employees acting as volunteers) complete the district's volunteer application which includes a Criminal Background Check. To find out the status of your application, simply log back in to your account using the Username and Password that you created. Applications must be renewed each fiscal school year beginning August 1st and ending on July 31st. The system will then be reset for the next school year. Please allow up to 5 business days for processing.

    Waco ISD’s Online Volunteer Application Process already has some of your information on file. You will need to follow the steps below in order to access your information.

    Non-U.S. Citizens

    Yes, Waco ISD wants you to volunteer.  However, there is an extra step in the approval process for non-U.S. citizens. Please contact our Waco ISD Human Resources office for an appointment at (254) 755-9415. You will need to bring in your passport, matricula consular, photo I.D. or other documentation to the security office in our Administration Building at 501 Franklin Avenue.
