    Dear Parents/Guardians,

Cedar Ridge Jaguars are celebrating the fourth year in a row where we received the Accountability Rating of Met Standard with a Distinction in Science.

Parent Involvement activities have been planned throughout the year to provide opportunities for you to be part of your child's education. A few examples are Student Led Conferences, Reading Nights, STAAR Night, Fine Arts night and Science Camp. Please check our Webpage or "Like" us on Facebook in order to keep up to date on these activities. We look forward to seeing you!

Cedar Ridge has approximately 600 students in our PK - 5th Grade classrooms and are fortunate to be partnered with Tarleton State University to create a PDS, or Professional Development School. This provides an enriching environment in which Tarleton students can prepare for their future as educators, while giving Cedar Ridge students the benefit of extra support in the classroom.

We are looking forward to our Adopt-a-School Partners enriching campus activities for the students. These partners include: City of Waco Fire Station #2, Fuzzy Friends, HEB – North 19th, St. Alban's Episcopal Church and McLennan County Master Gardeners.

Students are looking forward to an exciting year as we continue on our journey of learning success! Remember, the partnership between student, parent and school will ensure.....

    Your child's commitment To GREATNESS!!

    Sincerely,

    Helen Smith
