GT Cluster Teachers

Under the Texas State Plan for Gifted/Talented Students, cluster teachers must complete a 30-hour foundational G/T training covering the nature and needs of gifted students, identification/assessment, and curriculum differentiation. This initial training must be completed prior to teaching or within their first semester of assignment. Afterward, teachers are required to complete 6 hours of annual G/T update training to maintain their qualification.
