Check Attendance Zone and Non-Eligible Zone
To check your attendance zone, go to our Infofinder i page and type in your address.
(If it doesn't recognize your address, try similar combinations; for ex. 1400 S 12th St instead of 1400 South 12th St -or- 1400 Lake Shore Dr instead of 1400 Lakeshore Dr)
After it recognizes your address the left sidebar on the page should look something like this:

In this example, you can see that when searching "700 S 4th St" in "76706" , you see 3 campuses associated, sorted alphabetically:
- Cesar Chavez (the zoned middle school)
- University (the zoned high school)
- West Ave (the zoned elementary school)
You will notice each campus has different information:
- Cesar Chavez notes that it is in the Non-Eligible Zone for the campus, which means transportation is not provided to that address
- University High School doesn't have any notes. When there are no notes, usually, this means your student would be eligible for transportation, but a stop doesn't already exist -- in this instance, make sure you completed the transportation request during the enrollment/registration process.
- If, after the school year has started, you have moved, please contact your campus registrar to have them update your address and help you with a new transportation request.
- West Avenue notes a bus stop at 810 S 4th St. This is an existing bus stop for this campus.
If your address pulls up a different school than you are attending, it may mean one of the following:
- You live in a different school zone. When this happens, you will either need to enroll in your new school's zone or get permission from your current school to be on transfer. Transfer students are not eligible for transportation
- Your student is part of a special program where they are assigned to a different campus than where you reside. If they are associated with Challenge Academy, the Highly Mobile department, Special Education, the Bilingual department, or if, during this current school year, the district advised your student's campus is too full (Overages), contact those departments. If your student attends Hillcrest PDS, Lake Air Montessori, or is in the ATLAS Academy, please contact those campuses to discuss transportation limitations.
- You are in a split custody situation, where a student resides with one family member some weeks and another other weeks. In this event, transportation is only provided to an address that is within the school zone, not within the non-eligible zone, and is a consistent location.
- Your students stay with grandparents or a daycare. Like the split custody situation, in this event, transportation is only provided to an address that is within the school zone, not within the non-eligible zone, and is a consistent location.
If you are unable to get Infofinder to find your address, please contact our dispatch office at (254) 752-9691 for assistance.
