Student Handbook & Student Code of Conduct
To students and parents:
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! Education is a team effort, and we know that students, parents, teachers, and other staff members are all working together to make this upcoming year a wonderfully successful experience for everyone. The Waco ISD Student Handbook is designed to provide basic information that you and your child will need during the school year. The handbook is divided into two sections: Parental Rights and Other Important Information for Students and Parents. The Waco ISD Student Code of Conduct is the district's response to the requirements of Chapter 37 of the Texas Education Code. This code provides methods and options for managing students in the classroom and on school grounds, disciplining students, and preventing and intervening in student discipline problems.

Bienvenidos al año escolar 2025-2026. La educación de nuestros estudiantes se logrará gracias al trabajo en equipo; por eso, estamos seguros de que los estudiantes, los padres, los maestros y todos nuestros empleados están trabajando juntos para que este nuevo año escolar sea todo un éxito. El manual para los estudiantes de Waco ISD está diseñado para proporcionar información básica que usted y su estudiante puedan necesitar durante este año escolar. El manual está dividido en dos secciones: Los Derechos de los Padres y Información importante para los Padres y Estudiantes. El Código de Conducta Estudiantil está hecho conforme a los requisitos del capítulo 37 del Código de Educación del estado de Texas. Este código proporciona métodos y opciones para el manejo de estudiantes estando dentro del salón de clases y en la propiedad de la escuela, también contiene medidas disciplinarias y estrategias para prevenir e intervenir en los problemas de disciplina estudiantil.
