Yadira Burciaga

Yadira Burciaga

Yadira was born in California and studied Industrial Engineering at a college in Durango, Mexico. She is currently enrolled in the Alternative Certification Program at McLennan Community College.

Yadira worked previously in the banking industry at Chase Bank.  She worked at Chase Bank for close to six years as a lead teller before leaving to work for Waco ISD. 

“These two years working for the Bilingual Department have been wonderful.  I have learned a lot and it also a great pleasure to be a little part of all English Learner’s students’ lives.”

Both of Yadira’s children have benefited from the EL Department as they are both currently EL students, learning to speak and comprehend English.
