Rebecca Rivera

Rebecca is a Tarleton State University graduate with a Master’s degree in Social Work. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Arlington. She began her career working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. She then worked for Communities In Schools providing supportive services to at risk students at University High School. Rebecca provided services to children with a developmental delay or disability as an early intervention specialist prior to working for the English Learners Department. 

“I enjoy working with children and their families. My hope is to empower the students of today to create the world of tomorrow.”

Rebecca has two children- Jahir and Bianca. Her hobbies include spending time with family and photography.
