Cris Leary, English Learner (EL) Department Administrative Assistant, has been with Waco I.S.D. for 20 years, 17 of those with the EL department.  

Mrs. Leary organizes and manages the routine work activities of the EL department with great efficiency.  She is truly an administrative assistant to everyone in the EL department in every way.  She performs budgeting duties, assists with training sessions and meetings, collects pertinent data and organizes it into useable forms, prepares memoranda, reports, agendas, requisitions, and many other communications all in English and Spanish.

Mrs. Leary is married with one child: a daughter, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Her hobbies include reading and scrapbooking.
