WISD Future Educators Academy is a small learning community based on the high school campuses of Waco High and University High Schools. Students will take part in courses within the Education and Training Program of Study.  Students will spend 1/2 of their day on their home campus.

2024-2025

Students will travel to Kendrick Elementary School for half a day.  The students will have the opportunity to complete dual credit course work.  Each week, students will engage in intensive work-based learning experiences in the elementary classrooms. The South Waco Campus is being renovated to add a new wing that will house the Future Educators Academy in 2025-2026.

2022-2024

 

 

The students will merge as a team for half a day at South Waco Elementary.  While on this campus, students will have the opportunity to complete dual credit course work.  Each week on Fridays, students will engage in intensive work-based learning experiences in the elementary classrooms.

 

 

Students pursing dual credit as 11th and 12th graders will also gather on the Campus of McLennan Community College for additional dual credit courses.
