Attendance Process Information

Parents can determine their designated school zones through several methods: Printable Maps, Google Maps, and more.

Waco ISD provides PDF maps for elementary, middle, and high school zones, suitable for printing up to 11”x17”.

An interactive tool allows users to enter their address and view the corresponding school zones.

This online service enables parents to identify assigned schools and provides bus information, including bus numbers, stop locations, and pickup/drop-off times.

If a student accumulates 10 or more unexcused absences within a six-month period, the district may initiate truancy proceedings. Parents are encouraged to submit written explanations for absences within three days of the student’s return to school to avoid unexcused designations.
