Public Notification of Non-Discrimination in Career & Technical Education Programs
The District offers career and technical education programs in the following areas: The District offers career and technical education programs in the following career clusters: Architecture and Construction, Arts, Audio-Visual Technology & Communications, Business Management & Administration, Education & Training, Finance, Health Services, Hospitality & Tourism, Information Technology, Law and Public Service, Manufacturing, Marketing, Science, Technology, Transportation, Engineering (Drones), & Math (STEM).
District Policy also prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, handicap, or age in its employment practices as required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended; and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended.

Refusal of Entry Notice
Website Notice Regarding the Refusal of Entry to or Ejection of an Individual from District Property
In accordance with Education Code 37.105, the District has the right to refuse entry to or eject a person from property under the District’s control if the person refuses to leave peace-ably upon request and:
- The individual poses a substantial risk of harm to any person; or
- The individual continues to behave in a manner inappropriate for the school setting after having received a verbal or written warning to cease the inappropriate behavior.
A person ejected from or refused entry to District property under this provision may appeal this action by filing an appeal under FNG(LOCAL) or GF(LOCAL) and shall be permitted to address the Board in person within 90 days of the commencement of the appeal if the griev-ance is not resolved at a previous level.

In Waco ISD, we believe in treating all students and employees with dignity and respect therefore we take these matters seriously. All students (as well as other persons) at institutions/districts that receive federal funds are protected by Title IX—regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, race, or national origin—in all aspects of a recipient’s educational programs and activities. It is the responsibility of all staff, teachers, and administrators to report complaints of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and/or any other forms of sexual misconduct that they receive or of which they may become aware by immediately contacting the Title IX Coordinator for students or employees listed below.

Waco ISD's Title IX administrators have attended Eichelbaum Wardell Hansen Powell & Muñoz P.C.’s “2024 Texas Title IX Administrator Conference.” View the conference materials, which are in compliance with Section 106.45(b)(10)(i)(D) of the regulations.
Senate Bill 797, 87th(R) Texas
On June 16, 2021, the Texas governor signed into law Senate Bill 797. This bill, passed in the 87th Texas Legislature, requires a public elementary or secondary school to display in a conspicuous place in each building of the school a durable poster or framed copy of the United States national motto, "In God We Trust," if the poster or framed copy is donated for display at the school.
Waco ISD has received such a donation and will display the posters in compliance with the law.
Christ The King Church donated framed posters to Waco ISD in December 2022, for each of the district's campuses that were operating at the time of the donation.
