If you were impacted by the recent winter storm and would like assistance, please complete these three steps:
- If you need resources due to the impacts of the recent Winter Weather Event, please fill out this survey to indicate your need and the best way to contact you. McLennan County will match your request with volunteers or donations that are available and will contact you directly. Waco McLennan County Resource Request -- February Winter Weather Event 2021
- To request assistance from FEMA (click here to search your zip code and submit a request. )
- To assist with identifying damages across Texas and to help emergency management officials across the state gain an understanding of damages that have occurred during the recent winter weather, please complete this Texas Disaster Impacts Self-Reporting Tool. Reporting damage to Emergency Management is a voluntary activity, is not a substitute for reporting damage to your insurance agency, and does not guarantee disaster relief assistance.
If you have been financially impacted by COVID-19 the Texas Rent Relief Program is here to help.
The state has emergency funds available to help Texas renters (including non-US citizens) pay rent and utility bills (including past due rent and utilities). Click here for more information on the Texas Rent Relief Program.
