Free COVID-19 Testing in McLennan County

  • Governor Greg Abbott announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is partnering with the State of Texas and local officials to offer temporary COVID-19 surge testing in McLennan County. 

    Anyone who suspects they may have Coronavirus (COVID-19), or thinks they may have been exposed to it, is encouraged to be tested. They do not have to have symptoms to be tested. For additional information, please visit the testing page at covidwaco.com.

    Surge Testing

    Pre-registration is required. You will receive a voucher after you register. Please bring a copy of the voucher to the testing site. If you do not have access to a printer, you can complete the form or print it out at any of the four Waco Libraries or three Community Centers locations at no charge.  Waco Transit will be providing free transit rides to anyone going to or from a testing site for testing. Unless otherwise noted, all sites listed below will operate from 9 am - 6 pm and will utilize a saliva test. (Note: Do not eat, drink or brush your teeth for 30 minutes prior to this kind of test.)
