Can all students use the online registration process?
Yes. All students can be enrolled in Waco ISD through the online registration process.
For students new to Waco ISD, the parent/guardian will visit the Online Registration Portal and select "Register New User" at the bottom of the screen.
For students currently or previously enrolled in Waco ISD, a parent/guardian will begin with the Online Registration Portal. If you have forgotten your user ID and/or password, please use the options to recover the information found on the Parent Self Serve Portal. -
We're new to Waco ISD. Where do we start?
Go to the Online Registration Portal and select the "Register New User" option at the bottom of the screen.

I'm trying to register a returning student and completed the online portion. What do I do next?
If you submitted all of the required documentation during the online registration process, the registration is complete. If any required documentation was not submitted, you must provide copies to the campus before the student's registration can be completed.
All Students:
- Parent/guardian photo ID
- Updated immunization
New to Waco ISD
- Copy of student birth certificate
- Copy of student Social Security card
- Proof of residency

What days are campuses open for registration?
Campus staff will be available for in-person registration July 17-28, 2023. Please contact the individual campuses for specific hours.
*Students attending Wiley Opportunity Center should register with their home campus.*Schools will be closed July 21, 2023.

If I'm unable to register my student during the normal school hours, what should I do?

What forms of identification are accepted?
- driver's license
- passport
- government-issued identification card

What is accepted as proof of residence?
- utility bill in parent/guardian's name (gas, electric, water)
- rental or lease agreement/contract

What if we are staying with friends/family and the bills or rental agreement aren't in our name?
Please visit the campus to complete the sworn statement for parent and resident forms. The resident of record (home owner/renter) must accompany the parent/guardian to the campus and provide a valid form of identification.

How do I find out about bus routes and transportation?
Please visit wacoisd.org/transportation and click on "Find your bus information" to determine the bus stop, bus number, morning pick-up time and afternoon drop-off time based on your home address.

I'm wanting to apply for a transfer within Waco ISD. What do I need to do?
Visit wacoisd.org/transfer. For additional support or questions, contact the Student Services Department at 254-755-9417.

If my family is currently homeless, how can I get my student(s) registered?
Please contact the Waco ISD Homeless Outreach Services at 254-755-9433.

What about Pre-K? Can I still register for Pre-K 3 or Pre-K 4?
Please register your Pre-K 4 child through the online registration process. This will serve as a pre-enrollment as the district verifies that the student qualifies for Pre-K instruction. Registration is not complete until parents have been notified that their Pre-K student has been accepted.
