| Health Science Technology Education (HSTE) is a secondary career education program for students interested in the health care industry. The HSTE program provides students with opportunities to explore a variety of health careers and make realistic and satisfying career choices.The courses are designed to develop health care specific knowledge and skills in effective communications, ethical and legal responsibilities, client care, safety, first aid, and CPR, as well as certification or licensure in an allied health career. Students develop advanced clinical skills necessary for employment in the health care industry. Currently University High School offers a wide variety of these courses. | ||
