150 Backpacks filled with supplies to Waco High School.

Thank you so much for the generous donation today. I can't begin to tell you how appreciated it is. The backpacks will help many student who need the supplies in order to excel in school. Not only do the backpacks fulfill a daily need on our campuses, but your presence reinforces the spirit of community and generosity to our students. Thank you again for visiting our campus today. We hope to see you again in the near future.

The 2010 - 2011 school year will begin on August 23rd. Check back this summer for registration details as they become available.

Parent Night

Parent meeting will be held from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. on August 5, 2010 at the Waco High Performing Arts Building.

2010 WHS Ninth Grade Academy Camp

August 4, 2010; 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Waco High

Regarding Camp: The Ninth Grade Academy Camp is an exciting time for incoming freshman to prepare for their four year career at Waco High School. During camp, students will get the opportunity to:

• Panel Discussion
• Meet Fellow Freshmen
• Meet Principals, Counselors, Teachers
• Receive Guided Tours
• Participate in Team Building with MCC staff
• Receive A free T-Shirt
• Learn about Clubs and Organizations

** Buses for Academy Camp will run from the middle schools to the high school at the following times:
• Carver & Brazos 8:15
• Tennyson 8:30

Registration

1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Regarding Registration: At registration time, you will need to bring a current proof of residency (utility bill) and then you will receive the following:
• New ID
• Class Schedule
• Complete the lunch form
• Sign up for any Clubs/Athletics
• Sign up for PTSA
