High School fosters an academically diverse and challenging curriculum
within a secure and exciting environment. Our graduates are the leaders

High-quality instruction, organized strength, professional accountability
and a culture of success are reflected throughout Waco High classes, programs
and faculty.
Academic competitions, higher test scores, and dedicated, caring teachers
combine to reflect excellent teaching and learning at WHS. A strong emphasis
on high achievement through instruction has led to an increase in Dual
Credit and Advanced Placement classes. Trainings for the SAT and ACT are
offered to WHS students online through the Princeton Review. These programs,
along with many others, provide students with college preparation and
career/technology training.
Everyone has a chance to succeed at Waco High, where the student body
and staff are a reflection of the best Waco has to offer. Waco High is
