Mr. Bartlett graduated from UT in 1974 with a BS in Geology then attended graduate school at UT until 1978 when he accepted a job as an Exploration Geologist for Cities Service Company in Tulsa Oklahoma. In 1980 he moved to Natomas North America in Houston, Texas. He then began working for Santa Fe energy in Houston from '82 to '87. He also attended Tarleton State University in 1988 and earned a certification in Secondary Composite Science while teaching in Hillsboro. He then accepted the position to teach chemistry and physics at UHS, which is what he is doing to this day. He has a wife that is an ex-petroleum geologist, who is now currently employed by TEA. He also has two daughters, the oldest is enrolled as a senior at Sam Houston in Huntsville and his youngest daughter is enrolled as a sophomore at Lorena High School in Lorena, Texas.
