Waco ISD Policy Online is available on the Waco ISD website as a service to our community.  Legal policies are based on statute, State Board of Education and Education Commissioner rulings, and case law.  As such, legal policies are not adopted by the Waco ISD Board of Trustees.  Within the framework of the legal requirements, local school boards are authorized and required to establish local policies, which are adopted by the Waco ISD Board of Trustees.
