Waco Independent School District school board members will vote on school closing and consolidation recommendations from the superintendent at its business meeting Thursday, Feb. 23, 7 p.m. at the Waco ISD Conference Center. The district has been discussing this issue since last September in preparation for an expected $3.4 million loss in state funding for the 2012-2013 school year. The recommendations were presented at a board workshop on Feb. 14.
