Mission

To maintain an efficient and accurate process for acquiring goods and services which satisfy both internal and external needs of the District.

Services and Responsibilities

It is the responsibility of the Purchasing Department to provide fair and accurate purchasing guidelines and procedures and to take care of District obligations in an efficient and timely manner with minimal interference to campus activities.

Waco ISD Online Vendor Registration

The WISD Purchasing Department uses an online electronic procurement system. This system allows the Purchasing Department to maintain accurate information about registered vendors and the goods and service they desire to sell the District. The system electronically notifies registered vendors of bid opportunities and allows them to electronically submit their bids to the Purchasing Department for evaluation. There is no charge to register for this service
