Incumbents Alex Williams and Pat Atkins have filed for re-election to the Waco Independent School District Board of Trustees. Williams, first elected in 2000, is seeking a fifth term representing District 2. Atkins is seeking a fourth full term in the Position 6, At-Large seat he has held since 2002.
Position 1 (District 1), Position 2 (District 2) and Position 6 (At-Large) are the seats voters will decide in the election on Saturday, May 12. The deadline to file for a place on the ballot is Monday, March 5, at 5 p.m.
