Flu Shots! Waco ISD would like you to know...

Per the CDC (Centers for Disease Control & Prevention):

The single best way to protect against the flu is to get a flu vaccine each year. CDC recommends that everyone 6 months and older, especially people at high risk for developing serious complications from flu, get vaccinated each season.

You can get the flu shot at the following locations:

  • We are Family Event - November 7th., 6pm, at both Waco High and University High.
  • Your Primary Care Physician’s Office, Various Local Pharmacies – i. e. Walgreens, CVS, HEB, Walmart and others. Please contact your local pharmacy for age and insurance requirements.
  • Waco-McLennan County Health District, Hours of Operation:
    Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
    Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
    2nd and 4th Wednesdays: 8:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
    2nd Saturdays 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

    (Closes at 2:30pm on the 3rd Wednesday of each month for staff meeting.)
