Bell's Hill staff & volunteers serve enchiladas to eager families

The annual Bell’s Hill Elementary enchilada dinner, more than 30 years strong, continues to prove successful as another event comes to a close. The fundraiser, hosted by staff, students, parents and volunteers, has become a staple in both the neighborhood and district.

This year’s event, held on Thursday, Sept. 14, saw a cafeteria full of smiles, as family and friends gathered to support their school and enjoy a meal together.

Event organizers opted to once again offer a drive-thru option this year. They enlisted the help of the University High School soccer teams, who served as order and food runners, while a staff member collected payments from customers waiting in the drive-thru line.

Bell’s Hill staff rolled a total of 1,060 enchiladas to prepare - selling 530 enchilada plates to benefit the school.

Congratulations to Bell’s Hill Elementary on another successful enchilada dinner – a community tradition with staying power.
