Competition in Corpus

Good luck today to our Waco HS-SkillsUSA students who are in Corpus Christi participating in the SkillsUSA Texas State competition. The group pictured is part of the 35 WHS Lions who will represent Waco along with some GWAMA students.

They will be competing Friday and Saturday in automotive, photography, animation, and architecture skills, along with a Health Bowl and Knowledge Bowl.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together through a structured program of citizenship, leadership, employability, and technical and professional skills training to ensure America has a skilled workforce.
Its mission is to empower nearly 300,000 members nationwide to become world-class workers, leaders and responsible American citizens.
