Teachers with an eye for art display their work in a public exhibition

If you like art, you should make time for a visit to the Art CenterArt.Teacher.Artie Waco this summer.  The personal art of nine Waco ISD visual art instructors is currently on display as part of the Art Center’s Sixth Annual Waco’sOwn Exhibit. 

The exhibition, which opened to the public on May 19, will be open through Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012.  There is no admission charge, however, guests are invited to make an optional $2 donation to the Art Center.

The exhibition features artwork from nine visual art instructors from Waco ISD:  

Mary Ann Anderson
Jose Gutierrez
Heather Hughes
Kerri Jolliff
Shawn Knuckles
Deborah Reed-Propst
Brad Settles
Melanie Spark
Trey South

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 until 5 p.m.
