Leadership changes at Waco ISD

| Dr. Bill Shepard, who successfully led Mountainview Elementary to its status as an International Baccalaureate school, is the new principal at University High. Shepard most recently served as principal of Lake Air Intermediate. |

| Dr. Susan Thames has been named principal of the newly formed "Middle School #4" in Waco ISD. The school will occupy the campus previously used for A.J. Moore Academy. Thames most recently served as interim principal at University Middle School which is closing because of consolidation. |

| Keith Hannah has been named principal at Tennyson Middle. Hannah previously served as principal of Brazos Middle, one of the campuses closing because of consolidation. |

| Jessica Hicks has been named Dean of ATLAS Academy, an advanced academics program for grades 6-8 located at Tennyson Middle. Hicks most recently served as principal of Alta Vista Elementary. Prior to that assignment, she was principal at Brook Avenue Elementary. |

| Lorraine Randazzo, a longtime Waco ISD administrator, is the new principal at Alta Vista Elementary. Randazzo previously served as principal of Sul Ross Elementary which is closing because of consolidation. She also served as principal of Hillcrest PDS. |

| John Campbell, the longtime principal of Meadowbrook Elementary, has been named principal of Brook Avenue Elementary replacing Helen Smith. Meadowbrook Elementary is closing because of consolidation. Smith will become an assistant principal at Bell's Hill Elementary. |

| Debbie Sims, a longtime elementary principal who served at North Waco Elementary and Sul Ross Elementary, has been named principal of Provident Heights Elementary. North Waco closed because of consolidation. Adrienne Grubb left Provident Heights to take a job in Kerrville. |
|
| Dee Dosher has been named principal at South Waco Elementary. Previously an assistant principal at University High, Dosher served as interim principal at South Waco for almost all of the 2011-2012 school year. |
