Mission
As a part of the Waco Independent School District, our mission is the education of the students we have been entrusted with. It is our department’s aim to help our district achieve this with efficiency and integrity. Our vision is for our district to be an accountable and fiscally responsible steward of the funds that we are allotted for the good of the students bestowed on us.
Services and Responsibilities
Our department’s responsibilities include assessing the effectiveness of internal controls, accuracy of financial records and efficiency of operations by identifying problems, evaluating risk and analyzing requirements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, standards and district policies.
