A.J. Moore Academies earn "distinguished" designation
The AJM Academy of Hospitality and Tourism is one of three academies honored by the National Academy Foundation for two straight years.
Three academies claim prestigious honor
The A.J. Moore Academies of Hospitality and Tourism, Information Technology, and Finance have earned the "Distinguished Academy" designation for the second consecutive year from the National Academy Foundation. NAF is an acclaimed national network of high school career academies with career-themed curricula created with current industry and educational expertise.
The award-winning academies at A.J. Moore participated in a rigorous academy assessment review process and received an overall score that made them eligible for distinguished status. As a result, each will receive a "Distinguished Academy" banner at the NAF professional development conference in Washington, D.C. in July.
Next year, those banners will be proudly hung at University High School which will become the new home for the A.J. Moore Academies. Although changing locations, the excellence of the academies will continue.
