This group of Tennyson Middle School students represents 13 of the 37 seats won by Waco ISD at the All-Region 8 auditions on November 5.
Tennyson earns one-third of seats in honor bands
On Saturday, November 5, dozens of Waco ISD middle school students auditioned for the TMEA All-Region 8 Concert and Symphonic Bands.
Cesar Chavez, Tennyson, University and Brazos middle schools combined to capture 37 seats. According to Troy Tinney, director of fine arts, this represents the same number of seats earned by Waco ISD last year despite the addition of Temple ISD into the competition.
