Mission

The mission of the Office of Professional Development is

To strengthen every educator's knowledge of curriculum, instruction and assessment

In a way that allows him/her to make informed instructional decisions

So that he/she maximizes every student's potential for learning and ability to meet high academic standards.

Services and Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of professional development for teachers and administrators
  • Providing assistance for campuses for professional development
  • Supporting aspiring administrators to build leadership skills
  • Providing assistance for Professional Development Schools (PDS)
  • Providing support for teachers to become highly qualified
  • Promoting a positive school climate to capture kids’ hearts
