The Public Information
Department provides district news and information
to customers and employees using a variety of mediums.
The department is responsible for the ongoing development
of and updates to the district web site. Other services include
the operation of WISD-TV, a 24-hour educational
access cable television channel available on both Time-Warner Cable
and Grande Communications. Publication services
include a community newsletter, annual
report, Electronic newsletter of school board action (School Zone)
and various topical brochures. Additional services include media relations,
open records requests, crisis communication, and magnet school marketing. |
