DCP is an innovative course that is a combination of coordinated technical classroom instruction (school-based learning) and work-based training in an approved occupationally specific training area. Instructional arrangements include: cooperative education, internships, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training approved apprenticeships, and clinical rotations. The work-based learning concept allows student to learn about potential careers, study career interests, set goals, and develop the knowledge and skills for a successful future. The students are required to work 15 hours a week to fulfill the requirements for the course. |
