Hillcrest PDS Students Raise Money for Waco Mammoth Site
School carnivals are fun, family entertainment, complete with dunking booths, cake walks, face painting and lots of good food. But the fifth-grade students in Jo Anne Beaty’s gifted and talented “Kudos” class at Hillcrest PDS found their fall carnival to be the perfect opportunity to raise money for some wooly tusk friends, or the Waco Mammoth Site, and demonstrate their good-citizenry in the community.
